Scheduled to appear Thursday, Oct. 3 through Sunday, Oct. 8, at the Westchester County Airport, the Collings Foundation, which sponsored the tour, said it is on a "safety standdown" and will not hold the event.
The spokesman also said the foundation has canceled an appearance in Morristown, New Jersey, scheduled for Monday, Oct. 7, to Thursday, Oct. 10.
The foundation spokesman said he was not sure when the tour, which showcases World War II-era aircraft, would return.
In addition to the announcement of the cancellations, the foundation has also taken down its website and tour schedule sites.
The crash of the vintage World War II bomber plane at Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks, Connecticut took place at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 2, while attempting to land.
The plane was carrying 13 people, including three crew members and ten passengers, state police said.
